s up everybody! Doc here with a quick little [GOD FORBID] update for all concerned parties. Personally, Ive been off the radar for a while because there really hasnt been a lot to report. Im sure many of you were disappointed when it was announced that the album was going to be pushed back to early 09. So were we. To make a long story short, Colin Richardson was supposed to mix the album in July so we could get the album out in October, but we ran into some scheduling conflicts and decided to go back to the drawing board as far as mixing. Hence the album release delay. So after about 6 weeks of hearing some awesome test mixes from some of the best metal producers in the biz, weve decided on.drum rollJens Bogren. Jens owns and runs Fascination Street Studios in Orebro, Sweden. Hes most known for his incredible production and mixing work with Opeth, Amon Amarth, Soilwork, Katatonia, and Symphony X. The band could not be more excited about this decision, especially considering the varied and dynamic nature of the material featured on the new album. We are so happy with this that weve decided to share with the fans the mix that got Jens the job. We will be posting a new God Forbid song that was mixed by Jens from this Friday, Sept 12th through the weekend. So enjoy this little sneak preview while it lasts.

The one title sure to set off discussion among Metallica faithful is The Unforgiven III. The original song appeared on the bands famed 1991 Black Album, while The Unforgiven II surfaced on 1997s
Other song names seem to extend Metallicas traditional dark and gloomy vibe, from and My Apocalypse to Broken, Beat Scarred and Suicide Redemption.Death Magnetic is the follow-up to 2003s St. Anger, which has sold 1.76 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Metallica has three European dates on tap in the next week before returning Stateside for the Aug. 9 Ozzfest in Dallas. At that gig, guitarist Kirk Hammett will join Slayers Kerry King, Alice In Chains Jerry Cantrell and Anthraxs Scott Ian in a tribute to late Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell Abbott, who was murdered on stage in Columbus, Ohio, in 2004.

Lol, the album tittle has just been revealed today and there is already some idiot saying senseless things
Most hated band on internet? Anti-Metallica movement? What are you talking about? There is still million of people out there downloading their music who dont even know what Napster is and love them, who cares if they sued Napster? They still are the best thrash metal band ever, people who download music and claim to be fans are faggots, true fans buy CD´s to support their band, do you think they care about them?
You can say whatever you want about St.Anger, but it still was a sucess
¨Metallica seems to have lost their edge, especially after releasing “Load” and “ReLoad”¨ You dont know anything about music, do you? Every musician try something new sometimes, you get bored if you play the same music style your entire life, I can tell it coz im a guitar player, and I enjoy Metal, Blues, Jazz, Rock N Roll, Classic Music, even Electronic music (I dont care if it doesnt even have guitars on it, I like hearing it), Metallica experimented with Load an Reload, Megadeth experimented with Risk, Slayer experimented a lot with albums like ¨Diabolus in musica¨ and ¨Undisputed Attitude¨, Anthrax experimented with almost every album they made, every thrash metal band have, it´s not ¨loosing you edge¨ it´s (like I said a thousands times) ¨experimenting¨, but obviously, since you dont know a thing about music you cant understand that
Looking at the words you used, you obviously are a Metallica hater, anyway, greatest bands in the world always got three our four jackass like you trying to turn them down
Anyway, who cares about this little blog and your opinion.

During a promotional trailer for the band's forthcoming studio album, Metallica has declared that its music is the "most requested" on both Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
You may remember a few years back that the aging rock chuggers were on the verge of appearing in their very own videogame under the Vivendi / Sierra moniker. The "high action, third person vehicle combat game packed with fully customized vehicles and weaponry, endless terrain and desperate, murderous opponents" was due out in 2005.Metallica was all set to doand background music along withan original song for the title.
But all that never happened. Probably because someone eventually realized that it sounded horrific on paper. Worse even than the Load and St Anger albums put together. Thank God for the emergence then of Guitar Hero and Rock Band, which have given fans a chance to be in the band rather than drive it around, running people over.
Metallica classics such as One, And Justice For All..., Blackened and Ride the Lightning are just some of what's already available. But with the band's claim that its tunes are the most requested for both games, looks like there will be plenty more in store. Bring on Battery and Damage Inc., we say.
